Late June at 6,035 feet runs on its own clock. The sun's still up at 8:25. Patios on Tejon fill by five, and you don't really need a plan. You walk outside and there's something on the next block.

Free concerts most nights, the Wednesday farm market, a World Cup watch party, the Air Force Academy Band on a museum lawn.
