From 217 S. Weber, Acacia Park is a four-block walk. The Meanwhile Block sits about seven minutes the other way. Tejon's restaurant strip starts at your corner. Most of what downtown actually does (the street breakfasts, the summer markets, the parades that swallow whole avenues) lands inside a circle you can cover before your coffee gets cold.

Backstory: Emma Crawford was buried on Red Mountain in the late 1800s, heavy rain dislodged her coffin years later, and it tumbled down the mountain. The town reenacts it with four "mourners" hauling a coffin and an Emma impersonator on top. Thousands show up. Completely absurd, and worth going at least once.
